Gerald Paul Cline's Obituary
Gerald Paul Cline, 49 of Clearwater, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 16, 1967 in Schenectady, New York. Gerald was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at a young age but this did not stop his many accomplishments. He was a graduate of Western Iowa State University with a degree in Musical Instrument Repair. Gerald was a professional musician and played trumpet for a swing band. He also was a volunteer fire fighter and an avid outdoor sportsman who loved everything from hunting to playing golf, once getting a hole in one. Despite his ongoing battle with his RA he went on the get his pilot’s license and was an avid flight enthusiast and hobbyist.
Gerald moved to Pinellas County in 2008 from the Adirondacks in upstate New York with his wife to enjoy the sunshine and mild winters. He is pre deceased by his father, William. Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Victoria; daughters, Veronica (Karl), Melody (Ben), Daisy, Maggie (Brad); mother; Edith ; sister, Colleen(Kevin); brother, Todd; and 5 grandchildren.
Gerald lived his life to the fullest, always doing it his own way. He will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your local Hospice organization.
