Glenn A. Epperson's Obituary
Epperson, Glenn Alan, 65, a Tampa Florida native, passed away on January 19, 2018.
Glenn was a dedicated, life-long Jehovah's Witness and he followed in his parent's footsteps serving as a Minister and in preaching the Good News of Jehovah's Kingdom. It was Glenn's resolute belief that he will be reunited with loved ones in Paradise. Those that preceded him in death include his parents, Mildred Epperson and Curtis Epperson, and his grandparents, Aubrey C Epperson (ACE) and Mary Velma Epperson, as well as many more Burnett's and Epperson's.
Glenn was an avid lover of golf, having been taught by his father and in turn teaching his sons. Glenn loved to read and possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of old movies. Glenn also enjoyed to play games, rarely turning down an opportunity to play chess or other board games that involved strategy.
Glenn worked in many various jobs and lines of work including family businesses such as REX Wholesale Sandwiches, Father & Son's Landscaping and JP Tile. He last worked at the City of Tampa in Payroll as a member of the Revenue and Finance department since 2003.
Glenn was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Belkys Epperson, son, Isaac Epperson, son and daughter-in-law and new-born grandson, Aaron and Krystie and Levi Epperson. He will be sorely missed.
Memorial Services for Glenn will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6225 N Grady Ave, Tampa, FL 33614 on Saturday February 3rd at 3PM.
