Gloria Ann Winkowski (nee Wojciechowski)
September 26, 1932 – November 29, 2021
Gloria passed away peacefully at Robbinswood Northcrest Campus - Assisted Living Community, North Muskegon, Michigan to join her Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 29, 2021 at the age of 89.
Preceded in death by parents, Harry and Martha, husband Ralph Robert and son Ralph Richard and four siblings.
Survived by her children Robert; James (Paula); John (Diane); Jeanne (John) Martell; Judy; Joseph (Jennifer); Jane (Ken) Preece; JoAnn (Doug) Durow; Thomas; and Daniel; 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Further survived by sister-in-law Helen Winkowski, and other relatives and friends.
Special thank you to Father Godfrey, Deacon James, and the communion ministers at Prince of Peach Catholic Parish in North Muskegon for their prayers and spiritual support. Also special thanks to the staff at Harbor Hospice especially Phyllis who kept the family connected with Mom through bi-weekly Zoom gatherings.
Gloria was a registered nurse for over 60 years, married for 53 years and raised 11 children. Her husband was in the Army for 20 years so she traveled and lived in Guam; El Paso, TX; Milwaukee, WI; Munich/Frankfurt, Germany; Tacoma, WA; Mandan, ND; and Largo, FL. She was a devoted, faithful Catholic. She loved and lived for her family. Her smile would brighten anyone's day. She had a generous and giving heart, even to strangers. She smiled every day, even to her last days.
Mass at St. Catherine’s of Siena Catholic Church on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 11am. Entombment to follow.
