Harriett McKenzie's Obituary
Ms. Harriett McKenzie passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2020. She was born on September 12, 1961 in Safety Harbor, FL to Julius Burnett and Lenora Ash. She graduated from Dunedin High School in 1979.
Her passions in life included traveling, dancing, taking pictures, and simply having a great time. She was blessed with the opportunity to live in Florida, Alabama, Hawaii, Texas, California, Georgia, and South Carolina. Her vivacious personality, infectious laughter, and beautiful smile will always be remembered and her presence will sorely be missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Raphael (Cheryl) McKenzie; grandsons, Kaleb McKenzie and Ellis McKenzie. three sisters, Linda Woodard, Teresa Sullivan, and Barbara (Jeff) Bronson; two brothers, Hansel Forte and Harrison Fruster, Jr.; and many other relatives and friends.
Harriett was preceded in death by her parents, Julius Burnett and Lenora Ash; sisters, Betty Forte, Lola Murray, and Brenda McKenzie-Fruster; brother, James “Pop” Fruster; and grandmother, Elder Sarah Ash.
In lieu of a service, visitation hours will be held 3-7 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 693 South Belcher Road, Clearwater, FL 33764.
