Harry Fellmer's Obituary
Harry Fellmer, 95, sadly passed away on January 13, 2024, in Palm Harbor, Florida. Harry was born on September 2, 1928, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years Doreen, parents Harry & Sadie Fellmer, brothers Thomas & Edwin Fellmer, and son-in-law Ted Maynard. Harry is survived by daughter June (John) Gorman, daughter Diane Maynard, and son Bob (Penny) Fellmer, four Grandchildren, seven Great-Grandchildren, and five Great-Great Grandchildren. Harry attended Union High School and then served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked for Diesel Division of General Motors for over 30 years. Harry & Doreen together enjoyed retirement in Newaygo, Michigan and Clearwater, Florida also traveling through all 50 states. Harry spent time playing cards, billiards, golfing, TV and computer. Harry loved his family unconditionally; always wanted a call to make sure arrival was safe to the destination, either while traveling or even home. Final resting place will be Bay Pines National Cemetery, St Petersburg, Florida. A service will be held at Bay Pines on February 22, 2024, at 10:00AM. Memory donations may be made to Hospice.
