Harry Hawley's Obituary
Harry Hawley 85, of Guilford, Connecticut and Palm Harbor, Florida, passed on Saturday, May 15th at his daughter's residence in Palm Harbor.Harry was born in North Guilford to the late Dayton and Lillian Blake Hawley.He was a WWII Army Veteran, having fought in the Battle of the Bulge with the 280th Engineering Company. Harry was the Owner and Operator of Hawley Brothers Landscaping. He retired from the Guilford Public Works Department after many years of dedicated service. He was a member of the VFW Post 7666.Harry is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Helen Clark Hawley; Children, Carolyn (Randy) Tyler, Kathleen (Ralph) Mackenstein, Nadine (Steve) Rosiewicz, Pamela Simone, Glen(Twila) Hawley, and Peter Hawley; Fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Memorial Donations can be made in Harry's Memory to the Washington Engine Ladies' Auxilliary.
