Hazel G. Sever's Obituary
Hazel G. Sever, 99, of Clearwater, passed away February 28, 2020. Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, Robert I Sever, Jr. and son, Gary A. Sever. She is survived by daughter, Melinda Anderson (David) of Clearwater, FL and Timothy Sever (Nedra) of Cape Coral, FL, sister, Ruth Noftsger of Berryville, Arkansas and 7 grandchildren, Gregg, Kimri, Rob, Matt, David, Bryan and Justin and 3 great grandchildren, Hannah, Connor and Sydney; sisters in law Pat Fisher and Mary Sever, brother in law Jack Sever, many nieces and nephews. Brothers and sisters deceased: Jimmie O. Fisher; Opal Hopkins; Gladys LaHue, Dorothy Seavey, J.H. "Buck" Fisher, and Faye Held. Hazel played girls basketball in high school; Served in WW II in Army Air Corps where she met and married her husband, Robert, also in Army Air Corps. Her hobbies include boating, fishing, gardening, crafting, camping, traveling and bowling.
Hazel enjoyed being with and cooking for family and friends. She hosted many a fish fry and oyster roasts, loved playing cards, going out to eat in later years.
