Helen R. Forbes' Obituary
Helen Forbes, 90 years, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Gulf Shore Rehabilitation, Pinellas Park, FL. Helen was born February 11, 1928 in Edgerton, OH, the daughter of the late Chester and Mildred (Nihart) Kepler. She was a graduate of the Henry Ford Hospital School of Nursing. She worked for over fifty years, most of this time in Labor and Delivery and the Nursery department of Bryan Cameron Hospital and Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL. She spent many years volunteering with Hospice in their thrift store and in the Brookside Facility. Helen also enjoyed being an usher at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Her hobbies included gardening, sewing and crocheting.
Helen is survived by two brothers, Richard Kepler of Edgerton, William Kepler of Georgia; three children, Kim Forbes of Florida, Barbara Hocking of Florida and Doneen Chandler of Texas; 6 grandchildren, Jeremy, Ryan, Cole, Nickolas, Kate and Jennifer; two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Calvin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren, a son, Scott and a sister, Mary Alice. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity.
