Hendrik A. Celosse, 90, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020. He was born in Blitar, Indonesia on January 25, 1930. He is preceded in death by parents, Frederik and Esther (Mangindaan) Celosse; and siblings Read Obituary
To the Celosse family, I remember Hendrik from 3M as I worked in Sourcing in the adjoining building. Although I never worked with him on any projects I know that others in my department did and they thought highly of him-he was a good man. I did have the opportunity to play tennis with him a few times during the 3M Engineering Specialist annual outing and enjoyed hitting the ball with him. Hendrik, RIP

Om Ari/Uncle Hendrik, may you rest in peace.
I sure hope this recollection is true as I've told it many times. Before my love of coffee bloomed in the freshman dining hall, I was puzzled by its allure to adults. Bitter and too hot. And a bit risky as my uncle discovered. Apparently Om Ari drank coffee everyday at the office pantry. Weekends would dawn on Saturday, as would a headache, sometimes leading to rest with the blinds drawn. (And I knew my uncle prized family time.) On Sundays he'd feel a bit better, then work again, and repeat. A few doctor visits showed nothing until one asked him to describe his routine, and voila ... no coffee on Saturday morning. Leading to what I now know as a blinding coffee headache. So many chuckles of recognition over the years.
