Henry L. Hardin's Obituary
Henry L. Hardin, 85 of Palm Harbor, Fl., passed away Sunday, January 6th, 2019. Henry was the youngest son of Florence and E.M. Hardin. Born in Dunedin, he attended all the local schools, graduating from Clearwater High School in 1951.
Henry attended Mars Hill Junior College in North Carolina, served two years in the Army before returning to Stetson University in DeLand, and Peabody College in Tennessee. While at Stetson University he met his wife of 60 years, Jackie Bryant of Tampa. They in turn were proud parents of Lee Hardin, Palm Harbor, Joe and Lori Hardin, Tampa, Grandparents to Nathan Hardin, Tampa, Kaylee Hardin Barnes and her husband Anthony and their precious baby girl Emilia Rose, all of Tampa.
Henry was an active member of the North Dunedin Baptist Church from its beginnings and very involved in the Kiwanis Club of Dunedin.
After teaching at Madeira Beach Junior High School for ten years, Henry joined his family in developing four mobile home parks in Dunedin. Henry along with his brother, owned and managed Victoria Apartments in Dunedin.
A simple service to honor Henry’s active life will be held at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main Street, Dunedin on Saturday, January 12th at 2:00 P.M.
