I met this wonderful man when I joined the St Catherine's choir. He was always ready to do what needed to be done. I soon learned of his working for the phone company as I had. He told me of working in the federal buildings in Washington DC and being a member of the Telephone Pioneers, a group of volunteers, present and former phone company workers, that worked to make life better for their neighbors and community, especially the hearing impaired. I have missed him at choir and will in the future. I know he is now singing with chorus of angels. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. So very glad I got to meet him and call him friend.

Hotch was a loving and gentle soul. It was an honor and privilege to be his friend. He used his beautiful voice to comfort and to celebrate. He sang Ave Maria at our wedding and at the funerals of both of my parents (Kathy's). I asked him to sing at my funeral but he beat me to God's embrace. Our sympathy to his loving family. Ann, you touched our hearts with your devoted love and care of your daddy. May this dear man rest in peace.
