Inda Rebecca Taylor's Obituary
Taylor, Rebecca 84 of St. Petersburg, Fl & formerly of Virginia Beach, VA passed away on Friday, Dec. 3rd, 2010. She was born Feb. 2nd, 1926 in Isle of Wight County, VA. Rebecca was a mother and counselor of New Tribe Missions. She was a member of the Starkey Road Baptist Church of Largo, FL. Rebecca is survived by two sons, Preston T. "Buddy" (Rose) Taylor, Jr. of Clearwater, FL and John A. (Aeing) Taylor of Trang, Thailand, a daughter, Helen J. Whetzell of Kansas City, MO, 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren along with a brother, Charles Hatfield of Chesapeake, VA. Rebecca was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Preston T. Taylor, Sr. former pastor of Temple Baptist Church and now Avalon Hills Baptist Church and a daughter, Elizabeth "Libby" Trimmer. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to New Tribes Missions, % Mark & Joyce Cain, 1000 East 1st Street, Sanford, FL 32771. Friends are calling on Saturday, Dec. 11th, 2010 from 1pm to 2pm with Funeral Services at 2pm all at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, 818 Norview Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23509 757-855-5558.
