Irving M. Smith's Obituary
Irving Marcus Smith, 58, known as "Irv" to his family and friends, son of Irving and Marlene Smith, loving husband of Nancy Johnson Smith, passed away on January 23rd at his home in Odessa, Florida."Irv" grew up in Palm Harbor, attended Ozona Elementary, Palm Harbor Jr. High, and was a graduate of Tarpon Springs High where he met and later married Nancy Johnson and had son Kyle. Irv then worked for Florida Power now Duke Energy for 36 years until his recent retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors and recreational fishing; he also loved off road 4wheel trail riding, collecting, tinkering, and tractor pulling some of his fine collection of Antique Tractors. Irv was a 15 year member of the Florida Fly Wheeler Antique Engine Club. He is survived by his wife Nancy, son Kyle, mother Marlene, brother Don & wife Sandy with children Casey, Loren & Lyndsey, and many relatives. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main Street in Dunedin, Florida.Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Moss Feaster Funeral Home Chapel in Dunedin. Burial will follow at Curlew Pioneer Cemetery, 2210 Cathedral Dr. Palm Harbor, Florida.Friends and family may sign the guest book at www.mossfeasterdunedin.com
