Jack Moore's Obituary
John “Jack” R Moore Jr. of Clearwater beach Florida, formerly of Indiana, passed away on Thursday June 27, 2024, at the age of 67. He was the beloved husband of Deanna (Reagan) Moore.
Jack was born on June 28, 1956, in Syracuse, New York to the late John R Moore Sr. and Agnes (Shupp) Moore. Jack’s primary focus in life was his wife Deanna, his children and his grandchildren. Time with family was what made Jack happier than anything else. A lifelong athlete, Jack became an avid golfer in his retirement years. Outside of his family, nothing brought Jack more joy than playing a round at his beloved club, Belleair. The family would like to send their sincerest gratitude to all of the people who have been there and supported them and supported Jack through his illness. Their Island Estates community in particular did so much in assisting Deanna with Jack’s care. The Moore family has been truly humbled by the outpouring of love and care they have received from friends far and wide during Jack’s illness and since his passing.
Jack is survived by his 4 loving children, Lindsey Schenck and her husband Evan, Allison Harris and her husband Andrew, Joh Moore and his wife Nina and Jacqueline Moore. Jack’s adored 3 grandchildren Aden and Addy Schenck, and Halle Harris. Jack is also survived by his niece and nephew, cousins, in laws, and friends, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 12pm – 2pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main St., Dunedin FL. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In Jack's memory donations may be made to the Moffit Cancer Center, 12902 USF Magnolia Drive, Tampa, FL 33612.
