Jacqueline Barbara Glass' Obituary
Jacqueline Barbara Glass, 85, departed her earthly life on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at Mease Countryside Hospital of Safety Harbor, Florida, after battling health issues.
Jacqueline, better known as Jackie, was born on July 7, 1934, to Clarence and Norma Wilson in Boston, Massachusetts. She grew up in Roxbury, Massachusetts, and graduated from Brighton High School in 1952.
After spending some time in Massachusetts, her daughter, mother, and brother moved to Elyria, Ohio, where she met the love of her life Harold “the mailman” Glass. This union produced a son and daughter filled with years of happy memories. Jackie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Jackie was a homemaker for many years until she joined the Elyria Public School Administration team, where she retired in 1998. She loved watching her kids and grandkids play sports and visiting with many of her co-workers after retirement. She loved slot machines, traveling, and spending time with family.
Her mother, Norma Lucas, father Clarence Wilson, Sr., her stepdad Randy Randleman, her husband, Harold Glass, and her daughter Lynette Ragland, preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories, a son, Michael Glass (Kitty) Palm Bay, FL, a daughter Stefanie Corlew (Ken Lewis) Safety Harbor, Florida, two brothers Clarence Wilson of Philadelphia, PA and Kenneth Wilson of Charlton, Massachusetts, beloved grandchildren, Stacey, Danielle, Stephanie, Traivon, Jazmyn (Rob), Donte, Eugene, Danya, Devin, Tionna, and nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, April 28, 2020, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 693 S. Belcher Road, Clearwater, Florida 33674.
