James Alfred Andersen's Obituary
James Alfred Andersen, 85, of Clearwater, FL, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Palm Harbor, FL as a result of multiple strokes. He was born on Tuesday, June 4, 1940, in Rockford, IL the son of George S. and Mary K. (Koch) Andersen. Jim attended East High School, class of '59. He relocated to Florida in the 1960's and enjoyed the remainder of his life in the Sunshine State. He was self-employed as a hot rod and classic car parts dealer. He enjoyed his many friendships and fast cars. Survivors include his sister, Jacquelyn A. Shair; nieces, Lisa Styles and Lisette Styles and many cousins. Predeceased by his parents.
Private burial will be at Guilford Union Cemetery, Rockford, IL. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled in Florida. Funeral arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, hug someone you love.
