James H. Beckman's Obituary
Our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather' James H. Beckman, departed this world
and went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 26, 2022 in the comfort of his home in
New Port Richey, FL. Prior to living in New Port Richey', he lived at The Village on The Green in
Clearwater for 32 Years.
James (92) was born on December 2,1929 in St. Joseph Michigan to Louis Beckman and Mary
Ann Beckman (Dieckman). James grew up in St. Joseph Michigan and graduated from St.
Joseph Catholic High school. He was a great athlete and was on the St.. Joe Ponies State
Championship Basketball team. He joined the U.S. Air force and served in the Korean War.
James met his love; Marguerite Lois Kroschel and they were married on May8,1954.They
would have celebrated their 68th anniversary this year. He will be greatly missed by not only
his loving wife, Marguerite, but also his son Randy Beckman (Mary) His son Craig Beckman
(Karen), His Daughter Tamara Beckman Jones {Ken}, James $pent countess hours supporting his
children and grandchildren by attending baseball, basketball, soccer games and hanging out
with his family. One of his passions was to volunteer his time helping the homeless.
James was blessed with 8 grandchildren, Nicole, Kristina, Brandon, Steven, Justin, Kaitlyn,
''Steffani, Jordan and 12 great-grandchildren Dublin, Jackson, Karter, Logan, Peyton, Parker,
Rylie, Ellis, Emerson, Harper and Cole and another Parker.
James was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.
A Memorial Mass will be held on April 4th at The Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Seminole, followed
by a luncheon and burial at the Bay Pines VA Cemetery. ln lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be
