James "Jim" Art Wittenburg Sr.

James "Jim" Art Wittenburg Sr., age 83, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026, in Clearwater, Florida.
Born on February 27, 1943, in Little Rock, Arkansas, Jim was the son of the late David Wittenburg and Carolyn Novak. He lived a life centered on the people and passions he loved most. An avid golfer and horse racing enthusiast, Jim found great enjoyment on the golf course and following the excitement of the races. He was also a die-hard fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, faithfully cheering on his favorite teams. Above all, nothing brought him greater happiness than spending time with his family.
Jim is survived by his two sons, James "Jim" Wittenburg Jr. (Vickie) and Dulyn Clark Wittenburg (Lisa); his daughter, Erin Drake (David); his grandchildren, Jami Golda
(Greg), Adam Wittenburg, Courtnee Wittenburg, and Gregory Wittenburg; his sister, Nancy Alred; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Wittenburg and Carolyn Novak, and by his brothers, David Wittenburg Jr. and Ray Wittenburg.
Jim's legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
