Janice Scott Craven's Obituary
Janice Scott Craven, 71, of Clearwater, FL passed away August 15, 2020. She was born in New Orleans, LA to Forest Scott, an pilot for Pan AM and Audrey Staines, an English war bride. Janice was raised in Hong Kong, China until her father took a job in Libya as a pilot for Mobil Oil. After attending High School at Wheelus AFB, Janice went to collage in Germany, then transferred to Defiance Collage in Ohio where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was their Homecoming Queen. She worked in Clearwater for GTE until her retirement. One of her biggest loves was dogs, especially Boxers. Janice is survived by her husband, John; 2 children, Michael and Nicki; a sister Carol; 4 grandchildren; and cousins and extended family in England and her beloved Boxer, Sophie. Janice will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Any donations may be made to SPCA or Boxer Rescue.
