Janice Steele Regulski's Obituary
Janice (Jan) Steele Regulski - 97 of Clearwater,
Florida passed away on February 13, 2025.
A celebration of her beautiful long healthy life will be held February 28, 2025, 11am at
Moss Feaster Funeral Home, Clearwater FL. Visitation with her family will be held one
hour prior.
Jan is survived by her loving husband of 74 years, Lee Regulski, and their four children:
Susan Regulski, Kurt Regulski (Barbara), Doris Regulski Mitchen (Rick), Mark Regulski and
their grandchildren, Craig Regulski, Elisa Regulski, Mark M. Regulski, Elizabeth Shirey and
Bianca Regulski.
Born in Oakland, CA. she moved with her parents Thomas S. Steele and Milbrun Janice
Atchinson Steele and brother John Steele to be with the Steele family on their dairy farm
in Shushan, New York. Jan was valedictorian of her high school class. After earning her
Bachelor's in Economics at Cornell University in Ithaca New York where she met Lee, she
first worked at Proctor & Gamble Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio. They lived in Kingston, North
Carolina and Texas, then in Rochester, New York where all their children were born. And
in 1961 finally ending up in Clearwater as their home where they had an amazing life filled
with their children, neighbors, community volunteer involvement serving on numerous
Boards including P.T.A, Friends of the Library, President of the League of Women Voters,
PEO Sorority, Cornell University Alums, College Fund of Pinellas, AAUW, Meals on Wheels,
and Trinity Presbyterian Church among others.
Her joys were anything to do with her children, reading, Sunday crossword puzzles along
with Lee, going on walks in the neighborhood, church music and The Florida Orchestra,
taking her kids and grandkids to Broadway shows at Ruth Eckerd Hall, going out to dinner
at local restaurants, being part of the oldest living bridge club (her words), traveling
around the world with Lee, and talking with anyone and everyone. She was truly a
remarkable woman who just plainly enjoyed people, their stories, and made them all feel
special.
Jan was passionate about many causes and giving back to the community including
libraries, education, women rights, and all things kids. Online condolences and memories
can be shared with the family at www.mossfeaster.com.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Clothes to Kids, Inc. and PEO
