I was so deeply saddened to learn of Jason's passing. I worked with him briefly at his most recent employer. He asked about laboratory training, which is my background. He caught on with surprising speed and turned out remarkably good work within just a few weeks. He was very appreciative of the opportunity and spoke of exciting plans for his future. Truly a tragic, heartbreaking loss.
I met Jason almost 20 yrs ago. We always stayed in contact no matter the moves, exes, distance, whatever, we still spoke almost everyday. I'm absolutely floored by this. It hurts. My thoughts are with his family at this time. Tell your friends you love them you never know when it will be the last time.
