I have fond memories of family events when I was young. Jay and his wife would always be a sole part of the entertainment. I remember having large backyard barbeques with many of my cousins and extended family. There was never a feeling of being out of place. I remember always bothering Jay to inflate pool floaties and saying “blow it up like a bazooka Uncle Jay!” and he would never disappoint. I am forever grateful for the fun-spirited soul he has. My sincerest wishes of peace.
I'm so heartbroken. Jay was my brother in-law and more like a brother. I always called him Jay bro.
The world lost a good man and his family lost a very special man.
Him and I had are differences over the years but we always respected each other. I hold him in a very high place in my heart because he always treated my sister like a Queen and my daughters as they we're his own.

Jay came into our lives (and us into his) just when we needed each other most. It is not lost on me that Jay did not want to have kids prior to meeting my Mom. As life would show all of us, what we think we want isn’t always what we actually want or need. Jay has been the very best supporter in all ways to our entire family. Jay’s presence and guidance left us stronger as individuals and as a family unit. I feel so lucky . . even though I wasn’t ready to say goodbye. His impact will live on for generations to come. Jay has been a part of my life for almost 30 years. I met Jay at a very transitional time, as a lost boy trying to find his way in life. Jay saw something in me, and helped me with an early career opportunity that developed to where I am today. There were times where he was critical of me and told me things I didn’t want to hear. Looking back, he was guiding me as a father would. Jay didn’t have to do that, nor did he have to take on raising three girls. That’s just who he was. Jay had the biggest heart and couldn’t help but being kind and loving of others. Most memories I have include family gatherings, which Jay loved, and that damn camera he would take out at the most inopportune times to make everyone take photos. We would all roll our eyes and say ugh, but thanks to Jay so many of these memories are captured forever. I do not know where I would be without your love and support Jay. You knew me best and were there for me in my darkest days. You are in my heart forever.

We will always remember the vacations to Rocky Point with Jay and Gail. We had such a good time at the “Lighthouse” together. As well as all the holiday parties in Glendale with the entire family. We Love You!
