Jean M. Freaney's Obituary
Jean Marie Freaney passed away on January 27, 2025. She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Jean was born to Bill and Vera Wallace in Arcade, NY. She married the love of her life, Jack Freaney, on December 27, 1950. They were married for 53 years when Jack passed in 2004. Jean and Jack moved many times but finally called Youngstown, Ohio home in 1969. Jean was involved with many groups there including Saxon Club, Jr Seton, Infant of Prague, Southern Care Hospice and card groups. Jean relocated to Mease Life in Dunedin, Florida in July of 2023. She quickly made many friends and was very happy there. Preceding her in death were her husband Jack, her oldest son Kevin and her sister Joyce. She is survived by her children, John (Sally), Maureen “Moe” (Peg) and Joe (Doug); daughter-in-law Karen; sister Thelma Vullo; 5 grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Her life was full and she is now reunited with Jack.
