Todd Hess
I will always remember my grandmother as a devoted wife of 64 years, and mother of four kids. Not only that, but she is probably the finest uniquely talented artist I have ever known. I proudly display her work, and proudly tout my grandmother's accomplishments in art, theater scenery and costume design. But this incredible woman also taught her grandson, now 36, to tie his own shoes. I remember the wonderful adventures we'd set out on for the sake of fun, whether garage sailing or crossing an abandoned railroad bridge. And her advice back then, "if you choke on that, you won't need anymore," is still heralded to this day. I regret not being able to be there to celebrate your life today, but I will always love and remember you. Todd
