Jean H. Stuart's Obituary
Jean Stuart passed away at home on November 28, 2017. She was born in Clearwater, FL on September 6, 1926, and was a member of the pioneer McMullen family. She was a graduate of Stetson University.
She was active in the community serving as President of the Clearwater Junior Woman’s Club, Clearwater Community Woman’s Club, Clearwater Rotary Anns, Clearwater Yacht Club Gulls, and the Hillcrest Garden Club. She also served on four boards for the City of Clearwater. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Marks and her husband George; her son, Roderick Stuart and his wife Linda, along with four grandchildren, Gwen, Amy, Randy, and Ryan, and seven great-grandchildren, Jessica, Austin, Sky, Colt, River, Dante, and Carmella. A service will be held at Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church on December 9th at 10:00 am, followed by a reception in the church’s Roebling Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church, or the Clearwater Historical Society.
