Jeanne Anne Schinn's Obituary
Jeanne Anne Schinn, 79, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, in Palm Harbor.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Jeanne later lived in Denver, Colorado before relocating to Florida in 2006. She devoted many years to her career in Human Resources with Citibank and also found great fulfillment as a homemaker, caring deeply for her family.
A faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Dunedin, Jeanne was a woman of strong faith and compassion. She generously gave of her time as a volunteer at Kimberly Home and was an active participant in the Cornerstone Bible Study. Jeanne found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time at the beach, playing cards with friends, and, most of all, cherishing every moment with her beloved children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Schinn; her daughter, Jennifer Schinn; her grandson, Jack Bergmann; her parents, Philip and Jeanne Lynett; and her sister, Rosemary.
Jeanne is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth (Matthew) Stertz and Katherine (Anders) Bergmann; her brother, Matthew (Ruby) Lynett; her sister, Mary (Jim) Groves; and her ten cherished grandchildren: William (Kelly) Stertz, Megan Stertz, Julia Stertz, Chloe Stertz, John Henry Bergmann, Joseph Bergmann, Maria Bergmann, Cordelia Bergmann, Simon Bergmann, and Margaret Bergmann. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 21st from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, Dunedin Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Dunedin. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Clearwater.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeanne’s memory to Kimberly Home.
