Our little brother, Jeffrey William Burke of Tarpon, Springs, Florida,
went to heaven to be with his infant son, in the early morning of February 9th, 2017.He was 31 years old.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Sarah and their beautiful children Hailey and Stephen of Tarpon Springs, Florida.
His loving mom, Carol and her fiancee, Ron of Estero, Florida. His dad, David of Clearwater, Florida.
His sister, Jen, her fiancee, Marc and their son, Mason of Windham, Maine.
His sister, Kim, her daughter, Madison and son, Cayden all of Fort Myers, Florida.
Both aunts and uncles and many extended family.
Jeff was predeseased by maternal and paternal grandparents and his infant son, Matthew.
Jeff's life started on August 17th 1985 in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Moved to Gorham, Maine and lived in both California and Florida with his parents.
He was the youngest and only boy of 3 kids. From a young age, he found a love
for shooting guns and going to the range to target practice. It's something he enjoyed doing with his dad and later, his wife.
His most peaceful moments were spent on his kayak. It was something he absolutey loved doing and he would spend hours enjoying different spots.
It was his "me" time. A place he could think and clear his head. There are many pictures of his kayaking adventures and there is not one
that doesn't include a huge smile on his face. His love for the outdoors and nature showed in many aspects of his life. If he wasn't
on his kayak, he had his camera ready to capture beautiful photos. His love of photography was one of the things Jeff and Sarah shared.
He saw such beauty in the world and made time stand still with his pictures.
His hobbies were an important part of his life but not as much as his family. Sarah was his soulmate. Someone he confided in and loved deeply.
Jeff's 6 year old daughter, Hailey was his shadow and mini me.
Stephen was the baby that was sent to help mend their hearts after Matthew passed away.
Jeff was intelligent. His knowledge of electronics was incredible. He could've cracked codes for the FBI. He loved to be on his computer and
enjoyed playing video games with his daughter, Hailey.
Before his passing, Jeff attended Everst University studying criminology and worked as a public safety sergeant at Bayfront hospital in St.Petersburg.
Arrangements were taken care of by; MossFeaster funeral home and cremation services. 693 South Becher Road. Clearwater, Florida 33764.
In lieu of flowers, please take the time to tell those you love that you love them. Life is never promised. We were never able to say goodbye and this tragedy
has made many realize how fragile life is. Pray for the healing of our family. We need the strength to find a new "normal".
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." - (Matthew 5:4)
