Jeffrey Ryan Fleming's Obituary
On Saturday, January 19, 2019, Jeffrey Ryan Fleming, of Clearwater, Florida, loving husband and father of four children passed away at the age of 38. Jeffrey was born on August 3, 1980 in Scranton, PA to Cynthia A. (Cordaro) Willis and Jeffrey T. Fleming (Lorraine R. Fleming, Stepmother). On July 13, 2011, he married his wife Rebecca. He was preceded in death and loved by Tony Willis (Stepfather). He was survived and loved by Daniel Wayne of Van Buren, AR, Olivia Marie of Harrisburg, PA and two step-daughters, Rainee Marie, and Kara Leigh Ann of Tulsa, OK. Jeffrey was raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He attended Muskogee High School, where he was loved and cherished by many. He served in the Navy and later moved to Florida where he worked in the construction field and mastered in many areas of construction. Jeffrey, also known as “Chef Du Bar” (Chef of drinks) served at Parts of Paris (Safety Harbor), a higher end bistro for years bringing joy and laughter to many. Chris and Jackie (owners) had a beautiful celebration of life for family and friends on January 22, 2019, where many shared stories about Jeffrey’s charisma, smile, and humor. Jeffrey had four siblings who loved him more than words can explain, Mackenna Marie Willis, Jamie Lynn Fleming (Edwards), Ruby (Fleming) Rhoads, and Brittany Ann (Fleming) Snyder. Jeffrey will never be forgotten, he was just a star that burned too bright for this earth.
A Memorial Service will be held at Elm Park United Methodist Church, 712 Linden St, Scranton, PA 18510 on February 2, 2019, at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Jeffrey’s name to Wounded Warrior Project or your local Animal Shelter.
