Jeffrey Paul Hamrock's Obituary
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the death of Jeffrey Paul Hamrock on November 30th, 2024, at the age of 62. Jeff was born on July 24th, 1962, in Greensburg, PA. In 1978 the family moved to Florida from Scituate, MA. Jeff was a graduate of the University of South Florida and a resident of Clearwater Beach, where he was known for his kind and gentle spirit and warm generosity. As an Eagle Scout, he loved fishing, the outdoors, and visiting Tallahassee where he spent time on the family farm. He was also a passionate fan of the Tampa Bay Bucs.
Jeff lived a vibrant and influential life for over 25 years after receiving a heart transplant at Tampa General Hospital. He is a testament to modern medicine and was an example to others of great courage and selfless devotion to those around him.
Jeff is survived by the love of his life, Lucy; mother, Anita Hamrock; brothers John (Darlene) Hamrock and James (Karen) Hamrock; stepdaughters Patsie (Trent) McDaniel, and Jackie (Vincent) Russo; grandchildren Stone and Josie Russo, and Katherine and Vinnie McDaniel, who affectionately called him "Chooch"; aunts and uncles Tony and Pam Pesavento, and Renee and Donn Syster; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Jeffrey is predeceased in death by his father, Donald Hamrock; twin brother, Joseph Hamrock; sister, Jill Trumbull; his maternal grandparents Anthony and Genevieve Pesavento; and his paternal grandparents John and Anna Hamrock.
