Jennifer Sue Weaver's Obituary
Jennifer Weaver, age 74, went to be with her LORD on September 1, 2021. She was born October 24, 1946, in Tampa, Florida, to Barrett and Margaret Weaver.
She graduated from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. She worked for and retired from the City of Tampa as a civil draftsperson.
An artist at heart, she then pursued her passion for the visual arts. She taught beginning pottery at Dunedin Fine Arts Center for many years. There, she was a encouraging instructor who devoted to building her students’ confidence in their own creativity. Jennifer had a unique and recognizable style of pottery. Her work was shown at DFAC, PAVA’s “Cool Arts Show”, and DFAC’s “Art Harvest”.
Jennifer possessed an unwavering faith in God. Throughout her long and often painful illness, she never questioned His love for her.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents, sister Nancy Robertshaw, and brother-in-law Wallace Scott. She is survived by her sister Carol Scott and nieces Lisa Robertshaw, Michelle Robertshaw, nephew Jason (Patricia) and great-nephew Andrew, and her loving poodle, Jasmine.
A service will be held at a later time.
