Jessie McClung Waterbury, 86, of Clearwater, FL passed away February 11, 2020. Jessie was born in Dunedin, FL to Lester McCorkle McClung and Marjorie (Lawrence) McClung September 17, 1933. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, playing Bridge and meeting with her "51 Club" lunch group, from her Class of 1951, Clearwater High School Alumni. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1990 and is survived by a son, Robert, Jr and his wife Mary; a daughter, Stacey Letts and her husband Scott; 4 grandchildren, Cara Waxman and her husband Jordan, Michael Waterbury, Daniel Waterbury, Stephanie Letts; nephews, John McClung, Gordon McClung; Great-nephew, Jeff Holliday; and nieces, Margie Ward and Marjorie Terp. Her family was a long time residence of Pinellas. She is named after her grandmother Jessie Pepper whose husband John Newton built the first ice plant in 1900 and later in 1905 brought the first Electric Light Franchise to Clearwater.
