Ah, this beautiful spirit and I met amidst difficult circumstances, yet every single time I saw her, we smiled, she laughed a bit, and brought an air of joy and positivity for all around her. She was, and always will be, a light for all who knew her, and even those who did not but will sometimes feel an unexpected hug from the wind. That will be Joann. Hugs to the family.
I remember Joann as a happy, loving, free-spirited person. She loved her family and was generous to a fault.
I especially loved her Italian cooking at Christmas. She will be honored and missed terribly. Godspeed Joann!

I have so many loving memories of Joann. We have been sister-in-laws for 51 years. From the day I met her I loved her right away.
