Joann M Hebenstreit's Obituary
Joann M. (Roselli) Hebenstreit (1939-2015) Age 75, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on February 18, 2015. Best known for her great sense of humor, outgoing personality, and willingness to help others, Joann was a longtime member of the Hornell, New York community, retiring to Florida in 2003. Joann graduated from St. Ann's School and Hornell Senior High School. She dedicated her adult life to raising her children and supporting her family's business, The Ponce de Leon Restaurant. In Hornell, she was an active member of St. Ignatius Church. During her time in Florida, she was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Largo. Joann is predeceased by her beloved husband of 33 years, Henry A. Hebenstreit, Jr., father, Anthony "Cappy" Roselli, mother, Virginia Dean Roselli, brother, Francis "Thumper" Roselli, and stepson Henry A. Hebenstreit, III. Joann is survived by Anthony Vonfricken, her long-term companion, countless friends in her native Hornell and at the Japanese Gardens Community in Clearwater, brothers Anthony (Mary) and William Roselli both of Hornell, New York, son, Anthony (Anna) Hebenstreit of Vienna, Virginia, stepdaughters, Karlene (Richard) Krzyiewski of Oswego, New York and Laura (Timothy) Thomas of Fort Collins, Colorado and five grandchildren: Alexander and Lilliana Hebenstreit of Vienna, Virginia, Nicole Krzyiewski of Pittsford, New York, Daniel Krzyiewski of Oswego, New York, and Amanda (Adam) Weaver of Fulton, New York. There will be no visitation hours at the request of Joann. Her burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hornell High School Alumni Association and St. Ann's Academy of Hornell, New York.
