Joanne (Boucher) Sylves' Obituary
Joanne Sylves, 86, of Clearwater, Florida, died January 8, 2013 at Suncoast Bayshore Hospice. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska. She and her husband moved to Florida in 1982 from Clifton Park, New York. Joanne had many jobs through the years, among them Secretary at Broome Tech Community College in Binghamton, New York. Joanne was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, a wonderful homemaker, an avid letter writer, a fitness assistant, and a Nebraska Cornhusker fan. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and her youngest son, Kevin. Joanne is survived by her two sons, Richard T. (Claire), Newark, DE; David J. (Margaret), Lawrenceville, GA; and a daughter-in-law, Mary McDonald (William). Joanne had 3 brothers and 3 sisters, as well as 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Daniel DiTondo Foundation, which supports art instruction for poor children, at P.O. Box 21036, Washington, D.C. 20009. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main Street, Dunedin, Florida.
