Sue Boardman
Bob, It is such a hard transition in life when one leaves our presence physically.
Joanne and I met sitting next to each other for Pre-school orientation, as we were both beginning teachers in Orange Co. The bond was immediate and we decided to introduce our husbands as we both were new and without friendships in Clearwater. It was just a great fit for all of us. Daytona, and sundry other tracks often found us camping as a foursome. Sand Key another weekend spot which we tried to save from development, meant hours of liquid refreshment and sun. Road rallies with Porsche. Shared dinners, parties, and just great friendship time. Then the births of our two daughters within couple of months of each other. It was a beautiful time. Somehow moving and life got in the way of closeness, but never forgotten.
I am so sorry you have had to say good bye too soon. Joanne was a beautiful and warm soul. She will never leave you. You will hear her voice through others. A beautiful garden will draw you back to her. The action of someone will remind you of her actions. Take your time now to remember and celebrate your lives together. Sue B.
