Jodi Jones Knauf's Obituary
Jodi Jones Knauf, 60, of Belleair, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, April 21, 2015.
She went peacefully in the care of hospice with friends and family at her side.
Jodi was full of life with an unbreakable spirit, and she made an impact on everyone who met her. She loved swimming, working in her yard, and Gator football!
Jodi graduated from Columbia High School in Lake City, Florida, then received her bachelor’s in health science from the University of Florida. She worked as an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist for over 12 years, then went back to UF and became a Physician Assistant and worked as a PA for 16 years. She is a proud member of Delta Delta Delta sorority.
She is survived by her husband, Bert; daughter, Rachel, her pride and joy; parents, Doris and Glenn Jones of Lake City, FL; brother, Glenn Jones, Jr.; sister, Julie Jones, and her three nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held 4 PM Sunday, May 3rd at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Largo, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Honduras missions:
Gifts may be sent to the Eye Clinic in Honduras (CCSHH) that Bert & Rachel have been traveling to and performing corneal transplant surgeries.
The check should be written to Church of the Palms and indicate on the memo line, CCSHH Eye Clinic
