John Philip Cusimano a loving husband, father, and “Pop Pop”, resident of Clearwater, Florida died peacefully on September 11th, 2020 at the age of 71. John is survived by his wife of 56 years June, sons Thomas and Shawn, daughter Read Obituary
John was a thoughtful and caring person, and an incredible teacher. His students loved him. John would go the extra mile for his students and his friends. His calm and patient manner always brought out the best in people. Michael said he always played his best golf with John and some of my best teaching experiences were when I worked with John.
His great sense of humor made us all enjoy our job even more. Our sincerest condolences to John's family.

I taught for many years with John at Calusa and Deer Park. We played a lot of golf together. I'll remember his laughter and our friendship.

John, June, Tommy and Shawn lived just down the street from us, on Sandy Ridge. Eric and the boys were good friends and at each other’s house lots. I remember how much his sons looked up to their dad and how they played ball outside. He had a great smile and calm demeanor that when I think of him I remember. While he died young he got to see his boys grow up and have their own children. That was a blessing!
