John S Harrison's Obituary
John S. Harrison, 86, born in New Bedford, MA, son of Richard and Ethel Harrison, passed on May 8 after a short illness and is now in the care of God. He is survived by Florence, his wife of 60 years; son David, father of Christina and Joshua (mother Cathy); son Dennis (Sharon), father of Scott, Sara and Dana; and daughter. Diana, mother of Alexander, Nicholas and Gregory; and great-grandchildren, Trinity and David. Served in the USArmy during the Korean War and upon his return attended and graduated from UMass and earned a masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Adelphi College in Long Island, New York. Worked for RCA, GE, and Martin Marietta in Burlington, MA. Moved to Florida in 1997 and enjoyed a new life playing tennis and golf. He was the person everyone went to for advice and guidance and will be forever missed.
Memorial Service will be held at Light of Christ Church , May 26, at 10 am. No flowers but will accept donations to Hospice. For information and condolences please visit www.mossfeasterclearwater.com
