John Leo Hensberry Sr., 91, of Dunedin, Florida passed on Tuesday, August 13, 2013. John was born in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late Jacob and Mary Peck Hensberry.He served his country in the Navy during WW II. He was a Radio Announcer in the US Navy. John moved to Florida in 1954 from Houston, Texas. He was a member of various organizations including: Past Faithful Navigator, Assembly 1706, John F. Kennedy Council 5635, Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent DePaul Society, American Legion Post 275, D.A.V. Chapter 103 in Dunedin, V.F.W. Post 2550, Loyal Order of Moose 433 and Legion of the Moose 125. John was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Dunedin where he served as Pastoral Council Member, Usher and Eucharist Minister.He is servived by his wife, Maria; sons, John Hensberry Jr.; Anthony Hensberry; daughters, Rita Weymouth, Janet Rockwell and Judy Elkins; brothers, Robert, Theodore and Richard; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces and nephews.'
