John "Jack" D Christian's Obituary
John D. Christian “Jack” of Pinellas Park, died Thursday on July 30th, 2015 at the age of 81. He was surrounded by his children and grand-children when he passed away. Jack was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 10th, 1933 to John & Margaret Christian. Jack was a graduate of Bronxville Senior School in Bronxville, New York and Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts. Jack was married to the former Miss Theresa Ann Laurence “Terry” of Northboro, Massachusetts. Jack and Terry were married for 53 years. Both Terry and Jack are survived by eight sons and daughters – Deborah “Debbie” Trask, John D. Christian III, Alice “Ali” Fehl, Patrick Christian, Laura Gruss, Jacqueline “Jackie” Harter, Margaret “Peggy” Staples and Laurence Christian. He was preceded in death by his daughter Therese Christian Bailey. Jack worked at Southern Lock & Supply for over 20 years and was avid friend and sponsor to those in the “To thine own self be true” community. Jack had 15 grand-children, Nicole & Lorraine Trask, Megan Lefleur, Julia Fehl, Karly & Sarah Bailey, Emily & Erin Gruss, Courtney McMorris, Corey & Christian Harter, Mary-Margaret & Corey-John Staples, Preston & Harrison Christian. Jack also had three great grand-children, Annabella Narramore, Madden & Mabry McMorris. Jack will be laid to rest at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery where his mother, Margaret Boland Christian is also interned. A committal service will be held at the Resurrection Chapel on the Cemetery grounds on Monday the 3rd of August, 2015 at 10:00am. “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and Wisdom to know the difference” www.mossfeasterclearwater.com
