John L. "Jack" Warneka's Obituary
John L. Warneka, age 83 of Dunedin, Florida, passed on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at his residence under Hospice Care. He was born in Erie, Pennsylvania and moved to Florida in 1983. He was a graduate of Cathedral Preparatory School in 1946. Jack received advanced degrees in Finance and Accounting. Jack served in the US Army during the Korean War Conflict. His memberships included, The Dunedin America Legion, Past President of the American Institutes of Banking (Erie Chapter), Past President and Secretary of the Optimist Club in Clearwater. He and his wife, Marilyn, were Volunteers for many years at the Clearwater Free Clinic.Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Mozdy and sister, Gloria McCord.He is survived by his wife, Marilyn of 52 years; daughters, Kimberly(Michael) Warneka Porter; Susan (Brian) Kinsella; brother, Dr. Thomas Warneka of Ohio; Five Grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held on Monday, October 29th at 5:00 -7:30 pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, Dunedin Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Tuesday, October 30th at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Dunedin.In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations in Jack's Memory can be made to the Clearwater Free Clinic www.Clearwaterfreeclinic.org or Suncoast Hospice, www.thehospice.org
