I worked with Mr. Lee from 1981 until 2004 (excluding 199-2002). He was VERY good to me and I will always remember the kindness he and Neil showed to me during all that time.

I had so much respect for Mr.Lee my condolences to the family.
What a sweet guy, a true man for others. I have so enjoyed knowing Wally through the years. He was honest, kind, and believed strongly in fairness and family. We have shared so much with Wally and Ida, especially one of life's most previous gifts, grandchildren. My heart goes out to Jennifer, Niki, Scott, and his precious grandchildren.
So many fond memories of my lifelong friend Jennifer’s funny and sweet dad Wally. From all of those summer days at the Clearwater Beach Hotel to just hanging around at the Lee’s house on New York Ave, I always had fun with the Lee family - even when Jenn and I were in trouble. Love and comfort on Wally’s passing to Jennifer, Niki, Scott, and your entire family.
I worked at the Clearwater Beach Hotel for 17 years. Mr. Lee (he was always Mr. Lee to me) was a typical southern gentleman. I'm sure he had seen it all over the years but was always welcoming to everyone, "regulars" and first timers. Some of my fondest memories are working at the hotel and the people I met there.
I believe that Mr. Lee is now with his Ida, I know he missed her so much.
There is no place like the CBH hotel anymore and he certainly made it what it was to so many people. I miss those days and what Mr. Lee and the hotel represented, elegance, style and southern hospitality.
My thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time,
Denise Hawi
In the short time that we knew Wally, he was a wonderful neighbor and he will be missed.
