I knew John when he came to Ottavio's place restaurant back in the 1980s. One of the nicest patrons we ever had with a smile and firm handshake for anyone that was in his path. We always did our best for him knowing that he would appreciate our efforts. Rest in paradise John, God bless

I had mat John Meek in April 2001, my husband and I moved from Chicago and we bought a 8 unit Apartment building with Pattie Meek, we were at the beginning of the journey and Pattie Merk and John Meek help us , he let us for a while even drive they're car, gave us jobs. Every time we will see him he will always have a smile on his way, he was a good man. We were honored to know John Meek. RIP John Meek

I remember Mr Meek from working at Carlouel Yacht Club. And he was my car insurance provider for a few years. RIP.

Dearest Pattie,
I wish there was some way to take your family's and your pain away. Our family knew John more than 40 years as our parents knew each other, too. John was a special person who always knew what to say and how to say it. He had a certain presence when he walked into a party or a room. He could make you feel like you were the most important person when talking to you. He was sincere and gracious and was ready to help you in any way he could. These are just some of the qualities he will be remembered for.
