John P. Jessup's Obituary
John P. Jessup (Phil) Phil was born in Sheridan, Indiana on May 28, 1927. He passed away on February 14, 2011 at Brookside Hospice Center in time to spend with his beloved wife Patsy who preceded him in death on January 28, 2010. His family was by his side during his last days. He was the father of Phyllis and Al Schmoyer, Pam Demarest, Robin Haynes, and Dean and Ann Jessup; loving Grandfather to Tom and Melissa Salakar, Morgan Schmoyer, Jesse and Caitlin Demarest, Nathaniel, Cameron and Tauna Watts, and Krist Jessup; and great-Grandfather to Colton Philip Watts and D'Angelo Salakar.Phil was proud of his service to his country in the United States Navy from 1944 retiring in 1965. He enjoyed recruiting young people into the Naval Academy later in his life.A Celebration of his life will be held at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main Street, Dunedin, Florida on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 10:00 A.M.Arrangements under the direction of Moss Feaster Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dunedin, FL.
