John Robert Remick's Obituary
Remick, John Robert, 94, passed peacefully on January 6, 2018. Born March 25, 1923 in Youngstown, Ohio, John spent his entire life there until he retired from St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in 1987. He and his wife Ruth then moved to Clearwater Fl. John was an active and faithful member of First Lutheran Church. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 54 years, Ruth, and his eldest son Robert. He is survived by daughter Deborah Hoffman (Bill) of Tampa, FL, and sons John Remick (Stella) and Arthur Remick (Jennifer) of Poland Ohio, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Services and burial will be in Ohio. Donations can be made in his name to First Lutheran Church in Clearwater, or the Suncoast Hospice Care Center of Palm Harbor.
