Missing you today! -

Joe helped me arrange my first office when I relocated back to Tampa Bay from P.R. He was the first to congratulate me when Grupo won the division trophy, we shared personal stories and vented over the same stories LOL! I was “a must stop“ when he came by the office.

He touched my life with kindness, and I loved his “I’m not going to sugar coat this” responses like; some people where just not born to be technological. (Meaning me! LOL) We lost a good human. Ana

Gulash Family,
This is heartbreaking to just now see this. I loved Joe-Joe like a brother for so many years. He was one of my beloved groomsmen at my wedding!. We went to Europe for soccer together and had so many memorable trips and experiences.
My heart is with you and I’ll miss that dude for sure3️⃣

Joe was an awesome person. He was a friend, colleague, supporter, encourager and just an all around great human being. I miss his friendship and working with him. RIP Joe, see you again one day good sir!

Joe was always more concerned about people than projects. He was relentless in completing projects because he knew that the completion of those projects would make people's jobs easier and allow them to achieve greater success. At the same time, he always showed great care in making sure the people building out the project had the support they needed. If a business decision would affect someone's life negatively, Joe was the first to show concern and try to fight for them. His care for others was consistent and felt by everyone who worked with him.

First time Joe and I met, he was interviewing for his position with AmeriLife. Derek brought him over to me for an introduction and left the room. Joe smiled his 'larger than life' Joe smile, shook my hand, introduced himself, and sat down at the seat in front of my desk.

Before we even started talking business, he broke the ice by sharing the most embarrassing yet hilarious 'wardrobe malfunction' incident that happened that morning, and I knew right then.. 'if he accepts this job, we'll be great, fast friends!'

Joe did accept the position and found himself a home in my office. We shared more than an office though - in those three years, we shared laughter, frustration, accomplishments, you name it. Best office mate a gal could ask for.

He was true to himself and those around him. We should all find comfortable in having had the opportunity to know him -- a friend/colleague/man like Joe only comes around once in a lifetime, and I'm honored to call him my friend.

Rest easy, bud.

This was such a great memory with Joe. We were sending off one of our coworkers Michael and we had a celebration dinner at Bar Louie. Joe always had an infectious smile. You will be missed.
