Joseph Kashinski's Obituary
Joseph Kashinski, a retired Building Director and a longtime area resident, entered into rest on Friday, July 28, 2023 just two days after celebrating his 88th Birthday. He was married to his Beloved Burdell (Simonis) Kashinski and together they shared 52 wonderful years of marriage prior to her passing in 2015.
The son of the late Stanley and Josephine (Deptula) Kashinski, Joseph was born on July 26, 1935, in Escanaba, Michigan. Joseph proudly served our great nation as a member of the US Army, having served.
during the Korean War. He continued his service as a member of the American Legion and well as the
Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Joe loved his Family-spending time with them brought him Great Joy! -ESPECIALLY his grandkids.
He enjoyed sharing his time with Friends at the VFW, going on Cruises and conversations with his neighbors.
Joseph is survived by his Loving daughter, Wendy (Kashinski) Flaherty and her husband, Richard; his deeply loved grandchildren, Abigail Flaherty & Meghan Flaherty; his brother, John Kashinski and his wife, Nancy and many Friends,
In addition to his parents, Stanley and Josephine and his beloved Burdell, Joseph was predeceased by his sisters, Caroline Priami and Helen Alfonso. Helen predeceased her brother, Joseph, just two weeks ago- she is pictured in the photo with her loving brother, Joseph.
A Memorial Celebration in Joseph's Memory will be from 10-11:00 AM on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main Street, Dunedin. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Joseph's Remains will be joined with his Love, Burdell, in Bay Pines National Cemetery with Military Honors at a date to be determined.
