Joseph Michael Schramek's Obituary
Joseph Michael Schramek, 67, passed away on November 26th, 2024, at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. Joseph was born on December 23rd, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio, to his parents Joseph and Patricia Schramek. He was the second of three children. Following high school, Joseph began a career in furniture upholstery, which he would practice for 50 years, finally retiring in 2021. Joseph married the love of his life, Janice on February 21st, 1977, at Seminole Park.
After retirement, Joseph spent much of his time hunting and fishing, while also fighting the cancer that was ravaging his body. During his times of rest, he would listen to country music, his favorite genre.
Joseph was a charming and courageous man, full of adventure, passion, and bravery. He is survived by his wife, Janice Schramek; his son, Justin Schramek; sister, Lynette Peterson; brother, Derrick Schramek; father-in-law James Bacon; mother-in-law Phyllis Woroby; sister-in-law’s Jennifer McDonald and Jane Bacon; brother-in-law Kenneth Richards; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and various nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors whom he loved dearly.
