I remember coming home from Japan to visit and while in Antia and Jeff's backyard Jeff said, "Watch this."
There stood lil Joshua with a bat that was almost as big as he was.
Jeff began pitching to a little 2-year-old Joshua who proceeded to swing the bat and knocked the wall over the fence into the neighbor's backyard. This didn't happen once but each and every time Jeff pitched the ball to him.
Later, when I moved back to the States to my new Duty Station at NAS Point Mugu Anita, Jeff and Joshua rode the train up to visit me and we took him to the Ventura County Fair. The local TV crew filmed him stuffing cotton candy in his mouth while sitting in his stroller. The piece that aired was titled, "Through a child's eyes."
The next morning I asked Anita and Jeff how they slept, they said they didn't get much sleep because Joshua was moaning and groaning from a stomach ache after all he ate at the fair.
