Judy and I taught at Largo Middle School. Sometimes we drove together for our day of teaching. I remember Mr. Davis, Judy’s father. I interviewed Mr. Davis in 1975 for a research paper on Georgina Shillard Smith, who founded the Florida Gulf Coast Art Center in Belleair. Mr. Davis also told me about the hurricane that hit the area in 1921. I remember Judy and her parents with very fond memories.
